 It would be lovely if everything would climb the stairs and hop neatly onto the shelves ;-)

White walls......

I know it's just white walls and a sanded floor, but it's exciting to me......

New studio here I come.....:-)

Buttons.....

I poured out a box full of buttons onto the table to look for a tiny blue button for my cardie - and there was a spare one on the label all along ....:-)

Someone once told me........

Someone once said to me 'Your work would be better if you didn't throw everything at it'.

Well, I counted the layers in these two little pieces and it comes to seven.

Monoprinted base,chine colle(printmakers collage),stencil,acrylic,watercolour,hand carved stamps,inktense.........hmm, maybe I'll just keep on layering and enjoying the results.

I'm moving out if my studio, also know as the shed!

It's so cold in there in the winter and so very tiny for me and my lovely Rollerco press to fit into that sometimes it's difficult to make work.

I once watched a Japanese artist work, in a minute space, so neat and tidy, that I thought that I could emulate her - but I discovered that I'm not Japanese!

Only yesterday I realised that I have a home full of nature sitting in beautiful forms and have never seen them quite as clearly!

Most of my wooden bowls -- and I seem to have a lot of them -- are made by Alan Jones.

You can see his work in my space on the art tour in June -- more of that in a later post.
